About Tightyard texts
Tightyard is a product of Augment AI Labs Corporation. Companies use Tightyard to keep track of their tools. Tightyard tool alerts are texts about the tools on your name. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Our SMS Terms explain how the texts work.
Common questions
Why am I asked to reply YES?
Your company added your number to Tightyard. Before we send you any tool alerts, we ask if you want them. Reply YES to get them. Until you reply, we send you nothing else. Texts are your choice.
Why am I getting these texts?
Your company uses Tightyard and added your number, and you replied YES to our first text. To stop them, reply STOP, email us, or ask your company's admin to turn them off.
This is not my phone, or I do not work there
Reply STOP. You get one text back to confirm, and then no more texts to this number. You can also email us.
Is the link in my text safe?
Real Tightyard links always start with tightyard.com followed by a slash (/). We never ask for a password, a payment or bank details by text. If a text asks for those, it is not from us. Do not forward your link: anyone who has it can see your tools, hand them off or take tools out on your name.
The list of tools is wrong
Call your yard. They can check the list and set it right.
How do I hand tools to another foreman?
Open the link in your Tightyard text and tap Hand off. The tools move to the other foreman right away, and that foreman gets a text. If they did not get the tools, they can send them back to you from their own link within 24 hours.
My link stopped working
A link stops working after 90 days without use, or if your yard turns it off, for example after a phone is lost. Call your yard.
I have a new phone number
Tell your yard, so the texts go to the right phone. When they add the new number, we text it once and ask you to reply YES.
Can I get the texts in Spanish?
Yes. Ask your yard to set your language to Spanish. The pages you open from a text have an Español button at the top.
Does Tightyard track where I am?
No. Tightyard never uses your phone's GPS. A scan records the tool, the time, the yard or job it is for, and the phone or link used. It never records where you are.
Does it cost me anything?
Tightyard is free for you. Message and data rates may apply.
How do I get help by text?
Reply HELP to any Tightyard text, and we text back how to reach us.
How do I get the texts again?
Reply START to the number that texted you.
For yard staff and admins
My sign-in code did not arrive
Check your spam or junk folder, then ask for a new code. Each code works once. If it still does not arrive, ask an admin at your company to check your email address, or contact us.
Delete your information
- Yard staff: in the yard app, tap Delete my account.
- Foremen and everyone else: ask an admin at your company, or email
